Randy Werner

Kent resident Randy Lee Werner, 65, died February 22, 2014. He was born in Burbank, California on May 24, 1948 to Archie and Sylvia (Stein) Werner. Randy served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He graduated from Western Oregon State College and Oregon State University. He was employed by the Kent School District for over 20 years. Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his Harley, kite flying, gardening, and working with wood. His biggest passions were spending time with his wife and family, teaching, and coaching.

Randy is survived by his wife Barbara Werner of Kent; son Ty Werner of Kihei, Hawaii; son Thomas Werner (Jayne`) and granddaughter Arielle of Auburn; brother Gary Werner (Ilene) of Los Angeles, California; and sister Shari Johnson (Steve) of Ventura, California.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Misty Werner and his parents Archie and Sylvia Werner.
