Leo Primacio

–

Kent, Washington

Leo Primacio passed away on April 27, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. Leo is survived by his wife Lynn Emerson, mother of his children Ann Finder, three children David, Lisa and Kris Primacio, two grandchildren Felicia and Ashley Aasand, sisters Mildred Primacio and Eloise Knudson, brothers Philemon and Richard Primacio, and many nieces, nephews and cousins whom all love him dearly. Leo was preceded in death by his parents Katherine and Philemon Primacio, and loving siblings--brother Pius Primacio and sisters Barbara Tupinio and Ann Shirley Thomas. Leo grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii and moved with his family to Seattle, Washington in 1952. He was incredibly hard working and loved to learn. Leo earned a full ride scholarship to Seattle University where he graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering that led to his long career as an engineer at Boeing. Leo also served in the Navy for 37-years and retired as a Captain in 1998. Leo was an exceptional father; husband, grandfather, brother, uncle, son, and friend to so many who will miss his generosity of spirit, insightful perspectives, and incredible cooking skills. He was a gracious host and always created a 5-star experience for all of his guests. Leo had a passion for exploring new places and cultures, but he most loved going back home to Hawaii.
